In today’s class with Kenny, we went over the difference between quantitative and qualitative research. Quantitative data can always be expressed in a way which can be expressed as definable data, such as numbers or graphs. Qualitative data is something that can not be defined as a number. For example, a peoples opinions or emotions.
Both of these methods of gathering information are very important as they both offer a wide variety of information in all the topics you may be studying. They must both be used effectively to get quality and accurate data representation for your aim.
We also discussed the relevance of your project, to be sure that your project always has rationale and proper context.
